Quibids Review – Is Quibids The Best Penny Auction Site?

Taking a look at all the different penny auction sites on the internet, we wanted to find out if Quibids was one of the better ones you should use. We heard a lot of things about this site, some good and some bad, but the only way to really find out if a penny auction site is worth using is to test it for yourself…

We signed up for Quibids and ordered a bigger bid pack then we usually do, because we really wanted to give this a real try. We looked around at the different live auctions and eventually stumbled upon an auction for a brand new Garmin GPS system (that retails at $400+).

We waited until the auction was winding down to a close and there were only 11 seconds left. That’s when we started placing our bids… 70 bids later and we were still in a bidding war with someone else that didn’t seem to want to give up. We called it quits on the GPS system.

The next auction we got involved in on Quibids was for an Xbox 360 + Kinect. We tried to win that too, but ended up using over 100 bids and just couldn’t win.

We participated in several more auctions, and we eventually won some decent products – including several gift cards. Quibids is legitimate and a decent site to use, but we wanted something more… We wanted to see those 98% discounts!

A friend of ours who has been making good money off selling products that he wins on penny auctions told us to try out Arrow Outlet instead. We decided to test it out hoping that we’d have even more luck than we did using Quibids.

We purchased a fairly large bid pack –> 100+ bids, because our friend told us that buying more bids would help give us the best chance of winning products and beating the competition. Right away there was a big difference. There were a lot more live auctions going on with Arrow Outlet and they had some really great products to bid on.

We really wanted to win a brand new Macbook computer, so when we noticed that an auction was already going on for one, we decided to jump in when the timer hit 7 seconds left. At this point the auction price for the new Macbook was only at $24.61…

We started using up our bids on the Macbook… There was another person that kept bidding against us that didn’t seem to want to give it up. After spending about 45 bids though, he finally quit! The timer counted down — 5,4,3,2,1 0!!!!!!!!! We’d won a brand new Macbook Computer and the price was only at $34.22.

Including all the bids we used and the shipping and handling, we ended up ONLY HAVING TO SPEND $98.42 for a brand new Macbook that retails for over $2000!! Not only that, but Arrow Outlet  gave us the manufacturers warranty with it and delivered it to us in one week…

So overall, our recommendation is that you stay far away from other sites and stick with the penny auction sites like Arrow Outlet and maybe even Quibids instead. Quibids is our second choice for penny auction sites, but Arrow Outlet is still number 1!

I signed up for BidRivals and received a bonus of 10 Free Bids when I purchased their 200 bid package by using a special bonus code (great10). I looked around at the different products being offered and realized that they had more than I was expecting.  I was really looking for a brand new camera because I love taking pictures and posting them to facebook for my friends to see.

I looked around for a bit, and I found an auction going on for a brand new Panasonic digital camera. It was perfect for me, and I was eager to start bidding on it. I knew though that the best strategy is to wait until people have used up their bids and the timer gets near zero before starting to bid. So I did some waiting.

After another ten minutes of waiting the auction timer hit 7 seconds left. I started placing my bids in rapid succession to scare away my competition. At this point the bid price of the Camera was only at $9.87. Talk about a good penny auction to get involved in!

I kept bidding away and in the end I used up 30 bids before the auction finally winded down. I placed a bid, and the timer counted down – 5,4,3,2,1, 0! Then it said I was the WINNER!

I was insanely happy, and couldn’t contain myself. I ended up only having to spend close to $35 for a brand new Panasonic Camera that came with a 2 year manufacturers warranty. I didn’t expect to win that easy… And they delivered the camera to my doorstep in one week! BidRivals is the best choice if you live outside the United States.

Big Penny Auction Scam — What You Need To Know About Big Penny!

Have you ever heard of penny auctions before? I hadn’t until two months ago when a relative of mine told me about them and how he was able to snatch up some really high priced items for a cheap price. I decided I might as well give it a shot and see if they worked as well as he said it did for him. I signed up for a new penny auction site called Big Penny that had great reviews from a lot of people… it’s also the website that my uncle told me he was using.

I was told to purchase a 125+ bid pack as that would give me the best chance of winning the auctions I participated in. He told me that it’s really simple, all you do is bid on an item you want and every time someone places a bid the timer increases by 10 seconds and the price of the item increases by two pennies. He said that you want to be the last person bidding on the item before the countdown timer hits zero.

I scanned some of the available auctions and saw a new iPad 3G priced at $9.32. People were bidding pretty competitively on it, and the countdown timer was now at one minute and thirty seconds. I decided I’d wait a bit until some of the competition gave up and then start bidding on it. When the timer hit 40 seconds left, I started placing my bids. To my amazement it only took me 11 bids before everyone gave up and the countdown timer hit zero.

I couldn’t believe it! I’d won a brand new iPad 3G and the price was only $11.32. It just goes to show that having more bids definitely increases your chances of winning in Penny Auctions. The other guys probably gave up because they ran out of bids.

Since finding out about Penny Auctions, I’m now pretty addicted to them. Not only do you get some of the best quality items for really low prices, but just the thrill of outbidding the competition gives me a rush. I’m now making a full time living just by buying items for cheap on the Big Penny auction site, and then reselling them on eBay or Craigslist at a profit!

After looking over most of the penny auction sites and giving them a try, I eventually came upon one of the largest ones on the internet called BidCactus. I heard a lot about this site from other people and decided to test it out for myself and see if I could get new electronics at low prices like I’d been doing with other sites. People usually spend outrageous amounts of money on products like T.V.’s, mp3 players, and handbags, and BidCactus promises to help you get these products at low prices. In the past I’ve bought brand new products for low prices from other penny auction sites, but I hadn’t used BidCactus yet, so I was still skeptical that it would be easy.

As I always do, I bought a large bid pack because I like to have enough bids to compete in the auctions.  I usually bid on multiple auctions at a time just so if I’m not winning one, I can get out and continue bidding on another one. The auction was only at $15.43 and the countdown timer had under 50 seconds left. I kept bidding back and forth with this person for a good 40 minutes, and the auction price of the T.V. was raised to $24.21. Wavee Review – Is Wavee A Scam Or The Real Deal?

WARNING – Please Read This: After receiving comments from other people who have used Wavee, I no longer recommend that you use them. Although Wavee worked really well for me (read my initial review below), I’ve received too many comments and emails to ignore. Many people are saying that Wavee is a scam and that they aren’t being upfront about the charges with them. I’d recommend you stay away from Wavee and use one of the other penny auction sites I’ve reviewed. One site in particular that has been receiving a lot of good comments from readers is BidSauce, so I’d recommend you give them a try instead of Wavee! I’ve left my initial review below though…

When I heard about penny auctions, I was really skeptical that they actually worked. I thought they were just scams designed to rip off consumers. But once I actually tried them, I realized that this was a whole new way of bidding that would change the face of the internet. In fact, I now believe that penny auctions might put big websites like eBay to shame. After all, everyone thought eBay was a scam when it first started up…

But the question for me was, which penny auction website is actually the best? Which ones should I use?

I heard about Wavee recently and decided to test them out to see what kind of deals they had, and how easily I could win auctions.  Going into the test, I figured it would actually be quite difficult to win auctions through their website.

I bought a bid pack of 200+ bids to start off with.  My strategy with other penny auction sites has always been to purchase more bids to start off with so that I could have the best chances of beating my competitors. It’s pretty much like Poker where having a big chip stack intimidates the people you’re up against. Except with penny auctions no one knows how many bids you have, so you have to show them by placing a lot of bids at once.

So here I was with my 200+ bids, looking around at the different products offered.  My best friend was moving into a new house in a couple of weeks, and I figured that if I could get a hold of a big 56 inch Samsung T.V.  through a penny auction that would be sweeet!

So  I looked around for some time, waiting for the right auction to come up. Then I saw an auction for a brand new 56 inch Sharp T.V. — it wasn’t Samsung, but Samsung would be good enough.

I waited until the time left in the auction was down to 13 seconds left and then I started placing my bids like a madman.  When I first started placing bids, someone kept bidding against me. But after I used up 28 bids within a minute or two, the guy backed off pretty fast.

Then the time left in the auction finally hit 0 seconds (it felt like forever) and I was declared the WINNER of a brand new Sharp TV.

Wavee delivered the T.V. to me the next week, and I ended up giving it to my best friend. He was soo happy… I didn’t tell him that I only paid $58.19 for it!

I even won another television for myself on Wavee since then. This site kicks serious butt, and is the real deal when it comes to penny auctions.

  • How To Win

    1.) Make a goal.

    Search for the product you really really want and find two other similar products like it, these will be your targets.

    2.) Put your eggs in one basket!
    They usually telly you not to do this in life, but for penny auctions, you need to buy at least 250+ bids and then use them towards one big product which you want so you have a better chance of winning.

    3.) Be Persistent.
    You have to keep at it and sometimes wait a while until you feel the auction nearing it's end, get in tune with the flow of the auction and once you feel that there are only a couple bidders left, get in the action and start bidding!

    4.) Don't Give Up!
    Stick to your plan and don't get discouraged if your first auction isn't a winner, your greatest successes are usually two steps after that moment. Keep moving!
